Dear Customers and Vendors,
As of March 25, 2020, at 00:01 and until April 13, 2020, the Government of Quebec has ordered all non-priority services and activities to stop. However, the Government has also issued a list of essential services. Based on the information contained in that list, GB Micro will remain open.
See below specific sections of conformity:
- Maintenance and Operation of strategic infrastructure: Computer resources (security, maintenance, urgent need related to the situation)
- The Order specifies that ‘’all businesses can always engage in teleworking and e-commerce”. GB Micro does drop ship of IT products for most major retail chains in Canada.
GB Micro was founded in 1983 and is a full-service distributor of IT products. In these turbulent times, we perform work necessary to the operations of essential IT infrastructures and also supply products for people to work from home or for other essential businesses to operate. We also supply pharmacies and hardware stores.
We have a substantial number of employees working from home. Best practice and strict hygiene protocols are in place in all phases of our operations and social distancing has been fully implemented and is required of all employees at all times.
Our objective is to do our best efforts to support our customers with their IT product needs during these unprecedent times.
